improve in their driving habits, comprehension, and test-taking skills.

James Smith Driving School is a small business started in 1958 by James Smith located at 2503 Prospect Ave in Kansas City, MO.
James Smith Driving School has been proudly serving the urban core and surrounding areas for over 50 years and will continue to persue that same mission.
The purpose of our business is to teach the public how to operate and drive a motor vehicle safely , leaving them with a skill they can use for a life time.
Students will be trained properly how to drive safely without being a danger to one’s self or the public at large.
Our goal at the end of training is for our students to receive a driver’s license and obtain the knowledge of being a safe and confident driver. All student drivers will be asked to sign a contract stating that they are at least 15 ½ years of age, have a state learner’s permit, and are not under the influence of any illegal drugs or alcohol.
The contract must be signed and understood by the student driver before any lessons start.
Reggie King, brings to the public 20 years of experience in teaching drivers . Taught by James Smith at the age of 13 to drive ," I stayed under his tutelage for the next 5 years until I was 18 years of age,'' and then began to teach as an Instructor ,"It was scary at first but I really enjoy helping people learn something they can use for the rest of there life . " he said .

The products and services we offer will be the use of a company vehicle, over the road training, gas, and insurance coverage while driving our vehicle . In which the student will learn all the safe and legal ways, [offensive and defensive ] to operate a motor vehicle, and learn everything that is needed to pass the driver's test. The last two hours being designated for the actual driver's test (when taking 8 or 10 hour course).
We offer quality training and student support for all of our students.
